Burnham's Pace: When Politicians Join the Pack The Great North Run, one of the world's largest half marathons, took place on Tyneside this weekend, drawing 63,000 runners and wheelchair users to the streets.
Among them was Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister of England, who ran alongside football personality Chris Kamara and fitness coach Joe Wicks.
Burnham finished in under two hours – 1:57 – but it was his comments afterwards that caught attention.
